TOPS Terminal Memory knows the meaning of any particular script only through the binding of that script. Services and modems have scripts bound to them.
A script binding is shown in a uniform format in service and modem descriptions. A label showing the meaning of the script is displayed to the left of the name of the script. The label is in heavy type, while the script name is in light type.
Clicking on the script name with the mouse causes a list of all known scripts to appear. You may select one of these (including the fake script "No Script") and click the OK button to confirm it, or cancel (leaving the original script name in the slot), or create a new script (which causes an empty window for editing the script to appear). If you click the OK or New button, the newly selected script takes the place of the old one in the script slot.
